You still can't write a view selection formula using @UserName. What you
can do, though, is use the Show Single Category feature in embedded
views. Create your view so that it is categorized on AssignedTo. Then
embed that view into a page or form. Then set the Show Single Category
formula to @UserName. When the page is displayed, the Show Single
Category formula is evaluated to get a string. The view is then displayed as
if it contained only those documents in that category.
