Issue:
When going through a presentation in OpenOffice animations display black rectangular boxes instead of doing animation text.
Solution:
In OpenOffice, turn off acceleration, Menu --> Options --> Use Hardware Acceleration.
De-select to use slower internal VCL-based rendering engine rather than system video card OpenGL.
